We are proud to share that Fast Loan UK has been named a finalist at the Credit Awards 2026, in the Alternative Lender of the Year (Under £5,000) category. For a company built on doing things the right way, this kind of recognition from within the industry means a great deal to everyone in our team.
The Credit Awards are one of the most respected programmes in UK financial services. Organised by Credit Strategy, they celebrate the lenders, organisations, and individuals setting the standard for best practice and innovation across the credit industry. Entries are assessed by an independent panel of judges drawn from across the sector, which makes the shortlist itself a meaningful achievement.
This year’s ceremony takes place on 24 June 2026 at Celtic Manor in Newport, Wales, as part of Credit Week 2026. The evening will be hosted by comedian and presenter Matt Lucas.
Being shortlisted once is an honour. Being recognised year after year is something else entirely. It tells us this isn’t a one-off. We have stayed consistent on the things that matter, no hidden costs and no penalties for falling behind, and the industry keeps acknowledging that.
The standards at the Credit Awards rise each year, and the competition across the Alternative Lender category grows stronger with it. To continue earning a place among the finalists reflects not just what we do, but how we do it.
At Fast Loan UK, we operate as an FCA authorised direct lender with a straightforward set of principles. We charge interest only on the days you borrow, we apply no late fees, and we lend well below the FCA price cap.
This is the approach that has earned recognition at the Credit Awards, and it is the same approach we apply to every loan we make. Whether you are borrowing for the first time or returning as an existing customer, the way we assess your application and the terms we offer remain consistent and transparent.
If you want to understand exactly how our loans work, including how interest is calculated and what happens if you need to repay early, our how it works page covers everything you need to know.
